The year is 2009, the north-east wind is howling and a night spent knocking back the quadruple drink of choice means there is only one place to rescue you before havoc is caused on the Bailey.. Subway, Elvet Bridge. Fast forward 16 years, little has changed and this time it was the branch in Streatham Hill that came to the rescue.. and boy did it deliver. Italian Bread crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The meat and cheese slapped on with confidence and experienced accuracy. The salad handled delicately and the squeeze of sauce bringing everything to life (honey mustard till I die)! The sandwich was rolled beautifully into the famous subway paper and handed to us with a smile. (The upsell of an additional 2 cookies to the one we originally asked for was a nice touch and brought with it an almost flirtatious conclusion to what was an already wonderful experience). Finally, to our chief in command, Neel. Two words… Thank you. Yours faithfully, JTL & KTL

I’m a regular customer and never had any issues there but today there was this one server (short woman) it was my first time being “served” by her (other colleagues are defo better than her when it comes to talking to the customers) she needs to work on the customer service, she was having a grumpy face and a very unfriendly attitude from the start which made me want to leave only cuz of her weird attitude. you don’t have to smile but at least have some respectful attitude that’s very simple. if you’re being rude first I’m gonna match your energy as well, cuz I was just trying to eat some lunch and this woman was the only reason why I left. If she’s working there I will never return to this shop. And I’m sure other customers were not happy with her service
