This is the best pizza I have had in a long time and I’m not even that fond of pizza. The owner of the shop was very welcoming and friendly.

It's not the same people who used to run it in the past. Consider that Napoli won he 3rd and 4th Scudetto (Italian league) in 23 and 25, but their tables mention only 2! Any real Napoli fans would not ignore that... Pizza was good but not as good as it used to be, and quite expensive (52 pounds for 2 pizzas, a beer, bottled water and an entree). I asked them if it was real buffalo mozzarella on mine, which I couldn't even taste. If you buy any buffalo mozzarella, not in Italy but here at Sainsbury's or something, its basic flavour is a strong milky-ish base that almost covers other flavours. Completely absent in our 15£ pizza IMHO. Take it for what it's worth, perhaps you go there and it's different for you. Tomato was high quality instead! I will probably not return but I am not saying it's bad, if I had paid 10£ less, I would have given 4 stars. And the other friarielli pizza was very good (friarielli didn't taste bitter as they are supposed to, but that's understandable, out of season and far from the places where they grow). Peccato però, la pizza che mangiai nel 2019 era superlativa, veramente tra le miglior di sempre...
