The food? Absolutely unforgettable. The Adjaruli khachapuri arrived piping hot — a golden bread boat brimming with gooey cheese and a perfectly runny egg, the ultimate comfort dish. The khinkali dumplings were plump, juicy, and bursting with flavour, and the walnut-stuffed badrijani aubergine rolls tasted fresh and full of character. What makes Shoty truly special is the service. The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing Georgian culture and cuisine — each dish came with a smile and a story. If you’re looking for a restaurant that’s more than just a meal — somewhere that transports you to another place entirely — Shoty is it. A South Kensington gem I’ll be returning to again and again.

Great food and good place! I would usually mark 5 stars place like this, however I’m minusing the following stars for the following reason: - Minus star for service: I asked for a water and was brought it only 20 minutes after reminding them to bring it - even restaurant was empty. Also I asked for a kids menu and was told there is none which is fine. Then I asked them to split adult portion in to two for both children, and they refused saying I should do it myself. This is all fine, however bad thing is that they didn’t tell me that Georgian bbq is spicy and they knew I was ordering it for your children. I believe I should have been warned, or at least it should have been mentioned in the menu - Food is great, however there is no kids menu. Minus start. Also, it doesn’t mentioned spicy items on the menu. - I would NOT reccomend coffee. I wasn’t sure if my latte was made using coffee machine, or maybe its beans problem. Usually I’m not picky with coffee, but this coffee doesn’t cost £5!! Additionally, there is no colourings available for children. Therefore, I would usually put 3 starts for place like this however I will put 4, cause of food. I would highly recommend this place for those who are coming without CHILDREN. I definitely will be coming back and will be hoping for a better service next time. I really hope owner would hear the feedback and make adjustments by creating kids friendly place.
