Food is great especially the meat stew. Service was very good and welcoming. However the atmosphere was very quiet it needed some vibrancy.

What a great restaurant Salloos is. Great atmosphere, good service and the food is good. The food is extremely traditional which is difficult to find in this part of London! As you enter, the lovely calm music gets hold of you, while the receptionist greets you and asks you to take a seat. She then came back and took us up the stairs to our seat. We were then greeted by our waiter, who was dressed very well and extremely charming. The food was then presented to us and it was cooked to perfection. We look forward to coming again soon.

I ate here with 3 friends 35 years ago, and had the most delicious meal. I didn't order but asked the maitre d' to pick a variety for us to share. It was a delightful experience.
