The pastries, drinks, and service here are wondrously good, but it's not trying to pull outsiders. It's a really really but really authentic middle eastern cafe, and they've had enough bad experience with outsiders (perhaps some of the reviewers below) that they practically beg you to choose a more touristic venue. The baklava is the best I've ever had. And I've tried a lot, all over. If that's not a draw for you, and doesn't make you willing to do things *their* way and be cool with a lack of tourist compromises and concessions, then definitely do not go here.
