Came again to try a discounted product on buymeegao app just to noticed that the T&C wasn't well-communicated. The staff mentioned that you need to spend at least 45 to 60 in order to use the food vouchers in the app. The app mentioned any spending of at least £1 to use the food voucher. I was a little disappointed with the marketing but chose to dine in anyway. If the T&C discrepancy is not resolved, I would say this is a bad marketing strategy to attract customers and it is damaging the brand reputation. I remember from years ago the soup was really good. This time the pork maw and chicken soup was at the right spiciness but i think it was lacking of some flavour. The chicken in the soup wasn't tender. Some of the pork maw was bitter so it wasn't the best standard I was expecting. The sweet and sour pork was fried to a nice texture but the vegetables in the dish tasted raw. The 2 barbecue meat rice with pork belly and honey roasted meat was served in a big portion. The pork belly had crispy skin and the right texture. The honey roasted meat was standard. The dark soy sauce for the rice was a bit strong. It would be even better to serve some sweet chilli or garlic chilli sauce to pair with the pork belly. The rice also came with some Chinese cabbage and salads for a more balanced diet. The hot and sour soup was good with lots of ingredients. It would be great to provide additional vinegar for people who like to add more flavour to the soup. The environment and the dining area were very clean and comfortable. Better comfort compared to the central London stores but at a smaller menu. They offer 12% student discount with the presence of a physical student ID card at this branch.

Very solid Cantonese dishes on offer. Very attentive and friendly service. Best Cantonese option in the local area in my opinion
