It was a lovely experience to dine at Le Petit Citron. My friend and I visited France a few weeks ago and decided on this French bistro for my birthday. The interior is cozy, warm. All the staffs were really friendly. We got the baked goat cheese soufflé to start - cheesy yet not greasy and very soft. We got the cod and duck confit for mains. The duck was absolutely the star - crispy skin and very flavourful! The bisque in the cod was a good complement of the seafood flavour but wouldn’t be overpowering. We got the petit pot au chocolat and le petit citron for desserts but our favourite was the warm citrusy madeleine given as a lil birthday cake on the house! It was an amazing experience and would love to come back to try out some others:)

Overall the food was very tasty as always (we have been to this bistro several times), and the decor is attractive, traditional bistro style. The steak was good, and the frites excellent, and a very generous helping. The duck was a bit overcooked. The service was friendly but not very efficient, especially considering it was a Monday and not busy. We had to wait a long time for bread to accompany the pate and to remind them we needed a replacement fork. But we had an enjoyable evening!
