Our entree took around 45 mins to arrive, it was the cold charcuterie board, so shouldn’t have taken that long. Then our first main arrived an hour and a half after we’d ordered and the last main arrived about a further 10 minutes later so almost a 2 hour wait for our mains. The 2 mains that came out first were pizzas- but still we’d waited an hour and a half for them. Other diners were having a similar experience from what we could see. Yes it was busy, but not completely full. The waitress was trying her best, but you got the feeling the kitchen had no idea what it was doing. At times the waitress appeared to be cooking too in an attempt to get things sorted. We found out at the end the owner of the restaurant was on holiday, as apparently it is normally good.

Been visiting this place since I was six years old with my family, honestly always been a big favourite and may have sparked my love of Italian food. Try the calzone! I had it today and it's as beautiful as ever. Cheap as chips also, my main was a hair over a tenner, and desserts are less than a fiver. I don't know how to express how good the value for money is here for the quality of the food.

Lovely tasty Italian food. The fish stew is particularly excellent. Pizzas lovely and crispy and well loaded with toppings.
