I love what used to be just The Understudy. This time around it was dampened a little by uninterested staff and the gent serving me had to be told the right beer twice by myself before he got the right one. That said, the beers are great and it's one of the best spots in the city to sit and have a drink on a sunny day. Although we didn't have any, the food coming out looked amazing and would certainly be something we'd go for. If you find yourself on Southbank then it is definitely worth a visit.

A decent quality of food, but nothing special, the food vans directly opposite are serving up options just as good. It's a nice place but loses a star on atmosphere because music was too loud for conversation. 1 star on service because there isn't any...ordering must be done via QR code, which requires setting up an account, then waiting for an email to ask you to collect your food. God only knows what they're using my data for and who it's going to be sold on to.

The halloumi fries were so tasty and wraps are also filling and reasonably priced. You can't beat the convenience for a pre- or post- show dinner at BFI or the national theater. The atmosphere is lively, cheerful and fun.
