I might not be the best person to review Austrian cuisine as I have not had a great many experience of it as such. Maybe in few years I might, but I can give my opinion on mash which was a bit on grainer side. The tenderstem broccoli was done to perfection. The desert was very rich and decadent. Our server was really nice and gave us a good recommendations. A plesent place overall.

I had not been to Fischer’s for several years but was persuaded by friends to visit. On the plus side, it has a good atmosphere and the service was excellent. The cloakroom was spotless. But the food was a disappointment. I may have chosen badly, but I found the prices very high for the quality delivered. I ordered a Gröstl and found the potatoes to be undercooked and the pieces of meat to be hard (and their quantity stingy.). My starter of Käsespätzle had a nice crust but the noodles were lacking in flavour. For the price, I think that better quality would have been expected. I won’t go again.
