We went to this place when there was some sort of collaboration menus. We ordered a bottle of sake for us and I was expecting a good Japanese style dinner. I loved the idea of drinking sake in wine glass except for it was a dirty glass and I had to stop before them pouring. The bottle was also kept far from us and there were a few moments of empty glasses which was quite frustrating. Especially when you order a full bottle and the label is as important as the taste, I’d be more pleased if the bottle was left with us. We started with pickles and take wasa both of which were tasty. We then had spring rolls, scallops and hearts. They were acceptable but not wow dishes. The katsu sando seemed to be popular and everyone was ordering it and the looks great but the taste disappointing with not so great texture. Ox tongue was nice and soft. Pork was well cooked but something I wouldn’t recommend for the price. We had a selection of sushi’s - some of which were nice but some mediocre at best - ikura was especially not great texture. Overall it was an expensive meal and the service (on the floor) didn’t live up to that price.

Every dish was perfect! Looking forward to be back to try more dishes. Update: Went back for a second time but the menu changed and food was not as good as I had before. The waiter mentioned that the chef got bored making the same food and decided to try something else but I didn’t think the new dishes were as good as old ones . I might go back again for a third time but will stop going if it’s not any better.

Great place, tasty food. Not everything was perfect but they tried and it was the best food I had in the area by far.
