I'm giving 4 stars because it's decent pizza, but the raving reviews here are a tad exaggerated. That this is considered one of the top in London says a lot about people's expectations, not about the pizza. Decent toppings, crust tasty but a tad too burnt due to the lots of oil they put in it, and around it. I've had this twice now, and walk past this place regularly and see what pizzas look like. Again, not bad to try it out, also because of the atmosphere, but the "best pizza" thingy is more hype than anything else.

The overall experience of getting the pizza as a walk in felt unnecessarily long and chaotic. I knew it would be busy so called in advance for advice on when to arrive. They said get there 45mins-an hour before, and pizzas are on the hour. We did this but orders weren’t on the hour- we waited an hour and a half to order, then another 40 mins for the pizzas to arrive. Throughout this time staff were pretty unhelpful and there didn’t seem to be much of a system. We were also seated in the garden next to the bins, which staff were taking rubbish to while we were there. The pizzas were really nice. But you can get equally nice pizzas elsewhere in London without the faff. I think unless you’re pre-ordering or going at an especially off peak time I wouldn’t bother, life’s too short to wait over two hours for a pizza.
