We hadn't made dinner arrangements for the evening, and sort of stumbled on Comptoir Libanais Chelsea. As such, we had no expectations, no knowledge and no preconceived ideas about the place. Just a couple of hungry Americans looking for a decent dinner. Everything about our meal was superior. The food, the atmosphere and the service were all fantastic. Frankly, anyone rating this place anything lower than, say, 4-stars must have a personal problem/issue with someone who works there. We had the hommos appetizer as an appetizer, which was really good. My wife had the "chicken shawarma bowl," and I am not sure she spoke a word until she finished it. I had the chicken taouk wrap platter, and thought it was fantastic. Everything we had was fresh, well-presented and extremely tasty. The service was some of the best we had in London, and the atmosphere was really cool. Loved the place, and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

A restaurant specializing in Lebanese cuisine located in Chelsea. I definitely recommend the food — it was delicious. However, the service was very poor. I had the chance to meet the chef, and she was absolutely wonderful, with a warm and professional attitude. The waiters, on the other hand, were far below expectations. Still, I would return because of the high quality of the food and the chef’s excellent hospitality. I highly recommend this restaurant.
