This was my second visit to Chutney Mary, and once again the atmosphere and service were excellent. The Blueberry Cosmopolitan was wonderful – definitely worth trying. The Tandoori Artichoke became my favorite dish of the evening. The Scallops, however, I have had better elsewhere. The Butter Chicken was delicious, while the Fried Prawns were good but not the best I’ve tried. Overall, it’s a restaurant I truly enjoy and would recommend.

The air-conditioning was sub optimal. However, Pritam and his team were excellent. The Nan Salad and Sikver Crescent were excellent. The gajar Halwa souffle was interesting!

To start with if you knew me - I have a penchant for impeccable service, luxury and flavors and for me to give 10/10 is a rarity. Our experience was 10/10. The impeccable personable service, the incredible food, the perfect ambience that was not an art gallery like some fancy places I have been to, it was just the right balance of high end and yet a dinner place. The lighting and oh did I mention the food! Their rice, whether the basic rice that came with the tandoori lobsters or the rice in their prawn biryani was literally the best fluffed up, flavorful, aromatic rice I have had in my life. I make really good rice and thought I was unbeatable! Well, now I have a new challenge on hand!! The shrimp texture was perfect. Both the lobster dishes my husband had he said the lobster was perfectly buttery. and oh I must not forget the incredible balance of the tori chaat. Desert was good too and my husband didn't specifically ask them for a cake for my birthday but were they going to forget that - Nope! I got a beautiful slice of cake with the words Happy Birthday written in cursive. A night to remember. Our London holiday was a birthday trip for me and Chutney Mary surely made it perfect. We have now decided to visit London more often (from the US) just for Chutney Mary. Guys, you'll deserve subsidies from the tourism board!! Thank you all. Edited to add - Our main server was Raveena and someone took an additional order of biryani and naan in between. They let us know that the biryani would take time, however it seems they decided to wait on the naan too. When we waited for a bit and followed up, Raveena actually took it personally and was almost upset that our naan was delayed and she went in and got it herself <3 PS - One thing is missing though it really needs to be sorted.... a branch in the US!! Please pretty please, anywhere in the US, we'll fly to it at least 2-3 times a year. We currently fly to Aga's often for our best tasting desi food option in the US.
