Think this place is very overhyped. The food is fine, but nothing to rave about imo. We shared the Dorset crab, terrine, quail, peach salad, bread and butter, and the potato fondant. The peach salad was very good. The potatoes which I was very excited about were really too oily, I felt a bit sick afterwards. The quail presentation was served whole and therefore made it a bit awkward to ‘carve’. Our waiter tried to push us several times to order more food expressing the three starters and three sides wouldn’t be enough, but we pushed back a bit and said we might get desert. We were too full to even get desert! So not sure why he seemed to think we didn’t order enough. Seemed more of an upsell than anything. Also the service was very slow and difficult to flag down to order. I sadly wouldn’t come back, the area is filled with other great spots.

I booked a solo dinner on a Tuesday and I’m glad I reserved as it was packed! A really great atmosphere. The staff are lovely, the menu had lots of great choices and the food was excellent. I will definitely be back!!
