This restaurant is fantastic, and it is good value for what it is which always means you leave the restaurant in a slightly better mood! We started with the spicy feta dip, the hummus and the flat bread. The hummus was probably some of the best I’ve ever had, so silky and smooth, I loved the fact they crushed up crisps on the top, it was a clever texture contrast that worked well. The spicy feta dip was also great, it does definitely have a kick to it. We got the chicken thigh skewer, which was absolutely delicious- so flavourful and cooked perfectly, I was impressed that something so simple could be so delicious. The cannellini beans we ordered were nice, they were very delicate in flavour - I would say they maybe needed a little more seasoning. The anchovy flat bread was delicious, the flat bread was so fluffy and soft, and the anchovies and garlic were rich and salty - so good! The pork belly was nice but I probably wouldn’t order it again, the crackling was great and cooked well, but the actual pork meat itself could’ve been a little more tender and was missing a sauce - if you’re looking for a “melt-in-your-mouth”pork belly dish, this is not it. Overall this is a fantastic restaurant, and it did live up to the hype. It’s slightly annoying you have to queue to go here but that experience is made more enjoyable by the fact you can order drinks in the queue. Great place!
