Having not been to the Rose and Crown for way too long I took the opportunity for a quick lunch and drink with a friend. It was mid afternoon on a Saturday and have to say the bacon, cheese burger was pretty good with a nice pot of fries. The staff could not have been friendlier and we're a pleasure to deal with. We were given all possible sauces so didn't have to be asking for them which was nice. It's a very friendly pub. Always has been. The staff make a place like this and they nailed it this time. Thank you!
