I really like this pub, it has a lot of character. It is divived into sections woth ample seating. The bare brick walls and subtle lighting give it an intimate feel. As the name suggests their focus is on beer and cider, hence a very limited whisky selection. I chose a double Talisker at a rather expensive £14.40. They do serve food, the usual pub grub e.g. fish and chips (£18.50) and double chèseburger (£18.50). One great feature is the three dartboards, they are very popular. I was here at 4pm on a Wednesday and it was fairly busy. There is no external seating so some people stand outside. I like this pub and highly recommend it.
