Excellent location in half decent surroundings. Nothing special. The chairs around the oblong table for our business meeting of four people, which are best for working at are too low. Whilst the food was very good from a pleasingly short menu, I was surprised that there were so few gluten-free options. Service was dreadful in as much as our table had to ask almost every time for glasses to be filled, new orders taken, menus to choose the food et cetera. This was despite there being plenty of staff but they continued to walk by without paying any attention to what was needed at the table. The final act of poor service was when we were concluding our meeting at 9:30 in the evening we asked if we could have some coffees. We were told in no uncertain terms that the coffee machine closed at 9 pm!! At no point before 9 were we made aware of this and given the notice of last orders. I have never heard this before anywhere let alone an international Hotel in Central London. I did pay the discretionary 12 1/2percent service, but in hindsight, I shouldn’t have .
