The Star of the East is a Star indeed. Lovely beer, lovely people and a happy vibe. Pluck up your courage to cross over from the Westferry DLR and get in for a pint. Staff are great and very smiley. There is a big patio garden at the back. All good.

Fantastic food, friendly atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back there again We went there again this Sunday and wow it was even better than last time. I had a salt and pepper calamari the sauce was stunning. The babies had a great time. Very family friendly pub and the roast lamb was out of this world. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. We will definitely go back again. Paul. We have been back there 2 times since and the food and service have been fantastic. Both times out the back in environment sun. Fantastic people really a place.
