This is a banging pub. Full of different walks of life. Not expensive at all. If you like a full on noisy pub this is for you. Good couple of hours spent here

The Pride of Spitalfields – A Time Capsule with Heart Tucked just off Brick Lane, The Pride of Spitalfields is the kind of pub that feels like it’s been waiting for you — with its wonky charm, threadbare carpet, and the kind of East End warmth that’s hard to fake. It’s not trying to be trendy, and that’s exactly its magic. The ale selection is solid — ESB, London Pride, and a few rotating casks — poured with care and priced with generosity. No screens, no gimmicks, just good beer, good company, and the occasional cat curled up in the corner (yes, Lenny the pub cat is real and beloved). The crowd is a mix of old-timers, curious wanderers, and locals who know this is one of the last true boozers in the area. Service is friendly in that unhurried, familiar way. You might get offered roast potatoes at the bar if you’re lucky — a nod to traditions that most pubs have long forgotten.
