This pub is somewhat a hidden gem. Tucked away in an alley opposite Liverpool Street Station it is frequented by regular customers. They had a good selection of over twenty whiskies, I chose a double Woodford Reserve bourbon at £10.40. They had three cask beers on the day I visited. The pub is not large so a lot of people were standing up outside (no external seating). I was here at 4.30 on a Wednesday and it was busy. They do sell food and being a Nicholson's pub they promote their pies. They also sell the usual pub favourites such as fish and chips, burgers etc. The interior is quite dark what with the wood panelling and the low level lighting. A nice pub to visit, not sure that I would spend a whole evening here.
