We can’t thank The Island Queen enough for saving our event! After another venue let us down at the last minute, they stepped in without hesitation and could not have been more accommodating. A huge shout-out to Rich, the General Manager, who went above and beyond to make sure our day wasn’t ruined. Nothing was too much trouble — even with barely any notice, they worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly. We hosted some live demos as part of our event, and despite the short turnaround, the team made sure we had everything we needed for them to go ahead without a hitch. The warmth, professionalism, and genuine care we received was second to none. If you’re looking for a venue that not only delivers but truly cares about your experience, we can’t recommend The Island Queen highly enough.

What a Team! We had a meeting booked at another local pub that let us down and The Island Queen stepped in at short notice and really looked after us. Superb Meeting Venue, good food, excellent drinks choice but most of all great people. Thanks All

Came in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The Sunday roast for 2 is plenty enough for 2. We also tried some snacks, salad and classic dishes like fish & chips and burger. The pub is an old Victorian gin palace. The interior of the pub is pretty with high ceilings and ornate mirrors. There's also room upstairs it seemed from the sign. They have board games. The pub is not far from the canal. Follow here and the IG link in profile for more travel and food and drink tips, ideas and reviews!
