A great break from the tourist pubs! In the warmer months you can sit outside and enjoy an adult beverage.

We visited this lively establishment on a Sunday evening while waiting for a train from Watetloo Station and were pleasantly surprised with a great atmosphere and choice of refreshments. No food on the menu as the kitchen had been closed for some while, so it's bring your own food, quite rare nowadays! Staff were amicable and jovial. Some very lively music was provided by what seemed an ad-hoc band of 3 and 4 guys playing a mixture of sea shanties and Irish tunes on a guitar, violin, acordian and squeeze box. EXCELLENT guys very enjoyable, made us miss the next 3 trains and spend a lovely couple of extra hours enjoying the music and beers (which were reasonably priced) of course! We had a great time, Many thanks all! Will definitely return again when we have a train to catch from Waterloo Station.
