Popped in on Saturday night — first time I'd been in for a good few years. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely lady behind the bar who was friendly and welcoming, really made a good impression. Drinks were reasonably priced, which is always a bonus these days. The pub’s got a pool table and a jukebox too, which adds a bit of life and gives you something to do while you’re there. Bit of a shame it wasn’t very busy for a Saturday night, but that’s not necessarily a reflection on the pub itself — might have just been one of those quieter nights. All in all, a good little spot. If I was passing through the area again, I’d definitely pop in for a pint.
