About

The Florence in London offers a delightful fusion of nightlife, pubs, and dining experiences at a price that won't break the bank. Rated 4.2 on Google, it's a popular choice among tourists and locals alike. This fashionably casual and cozy lounge bar is perfect for meeting up with friends or enjoying some solo downtime. With a mix of British and vegan cuisine, the menu caters to diverse tastes, featuring six distinctive roasts, though some find them a bit small and dry.

The attentive and efficient staff ensure a pleasant visit, whether you're indulging in their great wines or savoring a bubbly Guinness, available at about £7. The Florence's charming beer garden is a perfect spot for unwinding, and it's even dog-friendly, making it a great pick for pet owners.

The variety in drink offerings, including cocktails, beer, and wine, paired with happy-hour deals, enhance the vibrant atmosphere. With options for takeaway, reservations, outdoor seating, and dine-in, flexibility is key. Minor drawbacks include an extra charge for gravy, but the overall service remains commendable. Nice enough pint of Guinness, but at 20 pence short of £7 i felt like I’d had my pockets picked.

We had a lovely Sunday roast here the weekend before last and I thought the food quality was great. There were 6 roasts to choose from (including a veggie and vegan option). I went for the glazed ham and it was absoloutely gorgeous. It was bright and clean inside and it was lovely to see that it was a dog friendly venue too. Staff were attentive and efficent and I can't fault the place. I will definately be back soon to try their fish & chips which looked delightful!
