Five-star experience! The sushi rolls were fresh and beautifully presented. The wasabi had a nice kick, and the miso soup was warm and comforting.

I think this place has been taken over since I moved away from the area a few years back. It seems to have developed an entirely new lease of life. Nice pool table, couple of dart boards and plenty of screens to watch live sports. Bar staff are extremely friendly and helpful, a good selection of general drinks available. Also, VERY competitively priced. I don't think there is currently a kitchen in operation, however, they advertise and encourage you to order your favourite food to be delivered to the premises. Current promotions include Free Pool & Pizza on a weekday, Pub quiz with up to a £500 bar tab to be won on Sundays! Will continue to recommend to friends and family.

The Earl Spencer on Merton Road is a Craft Union pub offering a range of keg beers. Nothing from the cask, sorry real ale drinkers 🥴. A quiet day here but lovely people and good service. A biggish pub and a good pint of lager.
