Fabulous art deco pub built in 1938. A precious place, not many of these left. The fact they served very well kept ale only adds to the all round excellence.

Nov.24. You should never leave a place like this for two years before returning - it should be constantly appreciated so we make sure it stays here for future generations. Still great staff. Still great ales. Still great Guinness. What more do you need. What a wonderful little pub Hidden away in the back streets of Bloomsbury/Mt Pleasant. Lovely bar staff and excellent Guinness and Black Sheep. Beautiful art deco building on the corner. Booths against the window and what appears to be a separate dining area. Well worth the visit
