I wandered past this place and was drawn in by the cool exterior and stunning inside. It’s an old Allsop’s pub and does all their speciality beers and ales and the dining room is bright and airy. All very positive and so I’ll definitely return. The one negative was that i ordered the burger from the bar menu and was told they did a kid version too (I was with my child) so I got one of those as well. The kid burger was a bit smaller and had less stuff in so was just a basic patty with cheese. When it came to pay I saw I’d been charged £10 for both my burger and also the same for the smaller version. I felt that was a bit off putting as it was smaller and of course more basic.
