Place is so real. Reassuringly filthy, kitchen isn't possible, food hygiene rating does not apply. They even manage to make the card machine look like a relic. Glad the area manager indulges them. So much love ❤️

A pub of wonder! It's tiny inside, but has outdoor seating that has expended further along the Lee Navigation tow path and beyond in recent years. There is an independent "shed" on the tow path selling food. The landlady and staff are really friendly and it attracts a lot of locals. An excellent place to stop at on an walk and on a summer evening flocks of parakeets fly past along the river.
