Used to love Skehans "back in the day". I still like it. A lot. It's changed as the area has gentrified and your more likely to run into the "splitting the G" type drinkers as opposed the old and younger Irish guys and girls. But the service is still fast, friendly and the prices are reasonable. So I'll keep going. I guess progress isn't always what you want it to be. Not should it.

This is a nice pub. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is often lively on weekends. Come early to reserve a table.

I saw a TikTok that said the worst person you know right now is sat drinking a Guinness at skehan’s pub. I fear that’s me. It’s time-out ranking has done some dangerous things for this pub but it will always have the best outdoor pub garden and Thai food.
