I’ve been a fan of this pub for a long time. My last visit was a shame as the food was generally the last place to let this amazing pub down. It’s not cheap either…..One dish turned up completely frozen in the middle. When sent back, the chef rolled his eyes, proceeded to grill the dish for 2 mins and send it back instead of a fresh one and it was still stone cold in the middle. Another eye roll when it got returned. Such a shame as the service was so good, don’t let this place get let down by poor kitchen management!

Take out a new mortgage if you're buying a round of beers. I averaged £8 a pint. But the atmosphere is nice, garden is nice with food shacks.
