Whilst attending the venue as part of a large group, still found the service excellent. Buffet that was laid on was of excellent quality and ample for the numbers involved. Equally, whilst on a solemn occasion, the venue, the location and the atmosphere was very good. Great garden area and plenty of room inside 👌

We had my Dad's Wake at The Golden Fleece last Friday and I am so happy with how everything went. The staff were amazing and helpful throughout - especially as I kept popping into check things in the lead up to the funeral. Georgina helped get things ready on the day which rreally put my mind at ease - but all the staff were wonderful and so lovely. Our guests loved the pub and food too. The live music in the evening was a lovely surprise - something my late Dad would have loved too so it felt extra special. THANK YOU for making a difficult day much more bearable. Wendy x
