My parents and I had a fab time at Enderby House! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with just the right balance of lively energy and cosy comfort. Being right on the river, the views are fantastic too. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we understood how things worked while keeping our table clear. The drinks selection was excellent — a wide range of good wines, beers, and cocktails. The food was just as impressive: big portions, full of flavour, and just what you’d expect from a proper pub meal. We had the roast with cauliflower cheese, which was cooked well and really hit the spot (though don’t expect crispy roasties). My mother had the plaice, which she said was amazing, but we all felt that for the price, it should have come with at least some veg or salad — the only side option was chips, nothing fresh. I ended up sharing half of my sides with her. One area for improvement would be catering for gluten-free diners. My mum is medically gluten free and is able to adapt without fuss, but there was no gluten-free menu or clear indicators on the standard menu, which would have made things easier. Overall though, we had a lovely experience and would definitely return for the food, great atmosphere, service, and riverside setting!

I visited Enderby House yesterday (11/08/25) and I just wanted to come on and share my experience! There were only two girls behind the bar and they still provided excellent service and always had a smile on their faces. The food was delicious and I would recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to come back!
