Interesting new arm of the Meatliquor group, in the same style as your Passyunk Avenues - attentive service, reasonably priced drinks and lots of sports/horror films going on around us on the TVs!

A friend recommended this place and took me (along with a bunch of mates) to check it out, and honestly, I was surprised by how much I loved the atmosphere! The bar is a mix of two themes: horror and sports (which makes the name BloodSports suddenly make sense). It’s huge inside, so I can imagine it gets wild on big nights, with plenty of space to dance but also separate seating areas if you just want to relax. From the outside, I wasn’t sure what to expect, it looked like it could be a bit rough, but the security guard was super friendly and welcomed us in with no hassle. Inside, the vibe was perfect for me: creepy horror décor mixed with a bit of sports. The music was loud enough to feel lively, but not so loud that we had to shout over it. When it came to ordering, the bartenders were really patient while I decided. My mates went for frozen alcoholic drinks, and since I love slush, I followed suit. I can’t remember exactly which one I had (I tried checking the menu, but I’m not sure it’s even listed), but it was so good I had to pace myself not to finish it too fast. The only reason I managed was because I kept getting distracted watching Final Destination on the TVs. There’s also a pool table, which we wanted to try, but it was already in use with a queue forming, so we decided to just chill with our drinks instead. They even have a horror-themed (Psycho) photo booth, which looked amazing, we didn’t use it this time to save money, but next time it’s happening. Overall, this place is a vibe, whether you want to go all out drinking and dancing, or just chill in a horror-themed setting with friends. Drinks were delicious, bartenders were great, security was welcoming, and the atmosphere was spot-on. Definitely worth checking out if you’re near Covent Garden, especially for a late-night hangout.
