I recently hosted my partner’s surprise birthday party at the Angel & Crown. They had an incredible offer (no minimum spend and £100 credit), so it was a no brainer to host it there! In the lead up, Claudio was super helpful and friendly over email, giving me prompt responses. They let us set up early, provided us with DJ decks and let us use the bar tab as food. The atmosphere was cozy in a fun 70’s type of decor and the staff were friendly during the night. The prep, night and event was a smashing success and I can’t thank the Angel & Crown enough for being not only a lovely pub but run by lovely people too! Grazie mille, I’ll be back :)

Last week I celebrated my birthday at the Angel and it was so much fun. We booked their reserved area which accomodated around 40 guests. We pre-orderd some food which they served buffet style, definitely yummier than the average bar. We brought our own Dj and we danced till close. Really loved the 70s atmosphere and decor. Staff were very welcoming throughout the night. No booking fee and no min spend are a huge plus. Definitely recommended.

Great local pub with funky 60/70s vibe and music and good food! Really friendly staff and in the summer the front windows all open up for a nice airy feel! They show sporting events on the projector also
