I’ve been going to Top Secret Comedy Club for years at their old Drury Lane venue, and I’ve had some unforgettable nights there – but last night was my first time visiting the new Kingsway location, and wow… they've truly taken things up a level! I went along last minute (which is kind of the magic of Top Secret – you can just turn up and trust you're in for a good time), and the show was one of their mystery comedian nights. I had no idea who I'd be seeing, which just added to the excitement. From the moment the warm-up acts hit the stage, the energy was brilliant. One standout was the absolutely hilarious Josephine Lacy – she had the entire room in stitches before the main act had even stepped up! Her timing, presence, and originality were so refreshing – someone to keep an eye on for sure. Then came the mystery celeb headliner, and let me just say: the room exploded. The vibe was electric. No spoilers here for future mystery acts, but this was a genuine star, holding nothing back, and absolutely brought the house down. It felt like being part of an exclusive secret gig. All of that – comedy gold from start to finish – for just a tenner a ticket? You absolutely cannot beat that. In a world where everything’s getting more expensive, Top Secret remains one of the best value nights out in the West End. Add to that the well-priced bar (especially for central London), and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a brilliant evening. Massive kudos to the Top Secret team – so happy to see them thriving in their new venue. It still has that familiar, intimate atmosphere we loved from Drury Lane, but with a fresh feel and great layout. Can’t wait to come back again soon
