Good service given friendly service

My 2 older children attended an athletics camp at Croydon Arena. I found it all rather run down in appearance, dated buildings and fitments with lots of broken chairs in the small stand and extremely smelly toilets. The few grounds staff that I saw appeared to be working hard at caring for the lawn in the centre and painting the grass with new lines. Come on Croydon Council - a revamp is desperately required!

A great historic athletic ground that I used to attend in my youth, and it still holds nostalgic value. However, the public toilets are in urgent need of refurbishment. They were unclean during my visit and had a strong smell of urine in both the men’s and women’s facilities. Regular hourly cleaning and maintenance are definitely needed to uphold basic hygiene standards.
