An absolutely beautiful venue when I was there for the Alice Cooper band reunion/album launch. Every member of staff from the security, the ushers, the bar staff etc seemed to want to welcome the people to the event. I'd been to Nottingham a few weeks before for quite a big act, and all the staff at that venue had faces like smacked arses. It wasn't good to be shouted at on entry about everything we couldn't do. From a one time I've been to Union Chapel, it's the ideal blueprint for all live performance venues across the country.

A room with a pew. Grade I Listed Nonconformist chapel (circa 1876) designed by James Cubitt currently occasioned as a performing arts venue. An idiosyncratic interior with unimpeded views and excellent acoustics makes for a exceptional ambience and memorable experience. Counts among the top echelon of venues in London.
