Really good playground, though the facilities are a bit old. It does not stop the kids from having fun. They are safe too. I saw council staff were checking the slides. There is a kiddie pool. It works in summer. The playground is all gated, which provides a sense of safety.

I was really disappointed with my recent visit. The sink was full of sand and twigs, clearly not maintained. The trees have been trimmed down to stumps—there’s no longer any shade over the sandpit or the picnic tables. In this scorching heat, it’s unacceptable that there's no shade anywhere near the playground. Even in the morning, with sun hats on, the kids were visibly struggling. I'm still giving it 3 stars, purely out of nostalgia for the good times we've had here in the past—but it’s not what it used to be.
