About

Marble Arch stands as a notable landmark of London, seamlessly blending history with the vibrant pulse of the city. Designed by John Nash in 1828, this elegant structure is crafted from striking white Carrara marble. Nestled at the end of bustling Oxford Street and near the serene expanse of Hyde Park, it offers easy access via the nearby Marble Arch Tube. The monument is free to explore, with features accommodating children and those requiring wheelchair access. It is one of London's iconic landmarks to walk through towards Hyde Park/Speaker's Corner. It was covered in pale white or something, which was out of marble. It was built in the 19th century, but there is always a temporary event named Marble Arch Mount where people see the whole view daily.
