Tiny garden .. but a very calm place. Mostly locals seem to know this place.

Just behind Oxford Street, Brown Hart Gardens offers a serene, elevated garden space with seating and flower beds, set above a former electricity substation. It’s peaceful and unexpected, especially given its central location. The café is closed, but you can grab a takeaway coffee and enjoy the calm.

It’s nice with the anticipation as you walk up the stairs that there is a hidden garden there. Loads of seats. Most taken over by the nearby students who take a nap here. 🤷🏻‍♀️
