Amazing tunnel and also sometimes you can find weird people 😅

I love walking through this place, it's easily one of my favourite places in London, have been through here all times of the day and night and never had a problem. The kids love coming here too - and making a lot of noise in the process. The first time I came through here it was the only way to cross the river as it was pre DLR extension to Lewisham, yet even with the DLR, even thought it takes longer I love the nostalgia of walking through the tunnel. The highlight is the WW2 damaged smaller section on the North side. I do miss the lift operators though, you get far more people cycling through the tunnel since they left (few years now) so keep your eyes open.
