The tunnel has a long history since 1902. It is a simple tunnel but it’s worth the visit to see that such a historical tunnel is still operational to date. A watch out is the lifts are usually out of service. So if you are with a stroller/ bicycle / wheelchair, it is not encouraged unless you can go up/ down the spiral stairs at both exit and entrance.
