日本でいう表参道の歩道のド真ん中に銅像付きのベンチがあります。 銅像の正体はチャーチルとルーズベルトで、いずれもWW2において英国・米国でリーダーシップを発揮して活躍しており、終戦50年の記念で作られたようです。 2人の間はかなり狭く、大人だと窮屈です。ここに座ると、不思議と戦後の日本のあり方や領土返還、天皇制の継続などについて議論したくなります。
