Es el templo más antiguo de Logroño, declarada Monumento Nacional, con origen románico y remodelaciones posteriores. Destaca su portada gótica con escenas de la vida del apóstol y su torre mudéjar de ladrillo, además de capillas y restos de pintura románica en el ábside. Características principales Orígenes y estilo: Su construcción comenzó en el siglo XII, siendo románica en sus inicios, aunque ha sufrido diversas remodelaciones a lo largo de los siglos, incorporando elementos góticos y mudéjares. Planta: Posee una planta basilical con tres ábsides, crucero y tres naves. Interior: El interior se caracteriza por la desnudez de sus muros, aunque conserva restos de pintura románica en la bóveda del ábside central. También cuenta con la capilla de los Márquez, con dos sepulcros yacentes del siglo XIV. Portada gótica: Ubicada a los pies del templo, es una obra destacada del gótico riojano, con esculturas que narran la vida de San Bartolomé, inspiradas en La Leyenda Dorada. Torre mudéjar: Asentada sobre el ábside central, su base de piedra era parte de la antigua muralla, y los cuerpos superiores, de ladrillo y con decoración romboidal, son de estilo mudéjar.
