Visited this restaurant with my daughter during a short trip to Llandudno. A nice small restaurant with a good choice of dishes and friendly service. Food was really nice. We especially enjoyed the duck pancakes and the chicken satay dish which was really nice and different.

I've never been to East before so thought we'd give it a try. The staff were very nice and pleasant. We decided to go for a set meal for two that had four courses. It was a good choice as each of the courses were excellent, the difficult part was eating it all as they were good portions. It was really good value for money and we will call back again to try out some of the other meals.

Every dish arrives like it’s the star of the show—and rightly so. front of house staff charming, attentive and quietly commanding the room with calm efficiency. There’s something reassuring about being looked after by someone who clearly knows the place inside and out. And then there’s Rikki—the young lad helping out, full of enthusiasm and energy, genuinely excited to make your evening better. You can’t train that kind of hospitality. It's just there. The atmosphere? Refined but relaxed. Stylish without trying too hard. The kind of place where you feel equally comfortable in a dinner shirt or a comfy jumper—and either way, you're guaranteed a good meal and great service. Final word: East Restaurant is a must-visit, and if you’re lucky, a must-repeat. Excellent food, standout service from Rikki, and steamed dumplings you’ll still be dreaming about on the drive home. Llandudno’s got a gem, and I’m glad I found it—twice.
