Went a few weeks ago and was really impressed with the friendly, attentive staff and lovely atmosphere. The Sunday roast is my usual go to and is great, but I decided to try the fish and chips and was honestly disappointed. For the price, the battered fish lacked flavour and was surprisingly bland—I've had better from a local chippy. I'd still return, but would steer clear of that dish next time.

Breathtaking location, the views from the window are pucture-frame worthy and the interiors are warm, inviting and expansive - you get the feel of being in an American smokehouse. We had the lamb shoulder and the pork belly - couldn't recommend more. And the service quality is excellent. Probably the first time I've not hesitated to give a 5-star on all counts to any restaurant or pub.
