Most courses currently are rock hard and burnt up but Maes Du on Wednesday was in pretty good nick . The fairways and greens have been left with some growth and as I arrived the greenstaff were hosing the 18th green . Very pleasant day ! Started the day with a bacon sarni and finished it with a beer.

Played on mon 4th Aug.had to wait for the storm to pass,but turned out to be a lovely but very windy day. The course was in fantastic condition and the greens brilliant. No two holes were the same and a good test of any golfer's game. Only sad point was no food available when we got in just before 4,00.
