Lovely people, coffee, flowers and selection of books. Nice and chilled with an attentive and friendly service. Takeaway or sit it I recommend dropping in :-)

I had one of those wonderful life moments this morning. I’m visiting Liverpool this weekend and decided impromptu to go and lay some flowers on my mum and dad’s grave. I jumped on the bus, at which point it started pouring down with rain. I had previously searched and found this combined coffeehouse and florist shop. Erin and Mark made me a perfect flat white coffee, whilst Karen created a beautiful small bouquet of flowers. The coffee was so good I stayed for two cups. I mentioned that I had forgotten to pack an umbrella. Five minutes later Karen produced an umbrella and said I could keep it. She flatly refused to take any payment for it. The Scouse good humour and friendliness were perfectly demonstrated. We’ll probably never meet again but I will never forget your kindness to a passing traveller. If you get a chance please support the Sunday x The Flower Box on Aigburth Road, Aigbuth Vale. Thank you.
